Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Yale New Haven Health System, York Street in New Haven, CT.

Registered Dietitian Preferred

Must have prior food operations, union management experience in a high-volume healthcare setting

The Food Operations Manager 2 at this location will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and manage a team of approximately 60 employees. Hours for this role are Mon-Fri 8a-4p (may vary per needs of the business)

The successful candidate will:

  • manage and direct all clinical research center nutrition activities, research host/hostesses and dietetic technicians
  • ensure compliance with financial goals, customer service and employee relation standards
  • actively engage in the development and implementation of research protocols and assures competent nutrition and research care
  • support the management of the room service call center and monitors quality of care and recommends program changes
  • assist in all section strategic planning and collaborates on development of budgetary standards
  • monitor adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • assume responsibility for the training of dietetic interns on the clinical research rotation

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
