Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager 3 for the beautiful campus of University of Texas in Tyler, located in piney woods of the east Texas community of Tyler, TX.

This is a large account with 9 sub units and +5M in managed volume. UT Tyler is in the 8^th year of a 17 year contract that runs until 2033, with plans on continuous growth. This position will have 2 managers reporting to them and oversee all operations for Resident Dining, Sodexo Branded Retail, National Brands, Catering and Concessions. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of contract services and previous experience managing multiple concepts.

• A strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implements company policies
• Strong management skills
• High volume experience in resident dining, catering, and multi-concept retail operations.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
