Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 for Yale New Haven Health, Saint Raphael Campus in New Haven, CT. This role will report to the General Manager and oversee a team of approximately 40-50 union employees.

Must have prior food and patient service, union management experience in a high-volume healthcare setting.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • patient service operations and be responsible for menu development;
  • diet office operations;
  • operational excellence;
  • KPI attainment;
  • client and Sodexo budget adherence;
  • management of frontline staff;
  • c-suite relationships at the local hospital and health system level;
  • overall coordination and delivery of Sodexo's patient service programs and high standards for this prestigious client organization;
  • frequent interaction with Patient Experience Managers, ensuring a high-level of patient satisfaction and experiences

  • experience with oversight of diet offices; and/or

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
