Sodexo has an immediate opening for a Food Operations Manager 3 at HCA Conroe located in Conroe, TX. Proudly serving the Montgomery County area, HCA Conroe is a full-service, 332-bed acute-care hospital and a tertiary referral center.

As a Food Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the patient dining program and supporting retail operations prioritizing patient satisfaction. The successful candidate will produce a high quality standard of food production and presentation for the patients and guests while fostering employee engagement and workplace safety. The successful candidate will:

  • evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction;
  • oversee Sodexo’s Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery;
  • perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy;
  • exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits.
  • strong management skills, preferably in healthcare.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
