Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a skilled and motivated Food Production Manager 2 at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center located in Austin, TX. In this role, you will oversee food preparation and production processes, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and support inventory and ordering. Good computer and organization skills are required in order to maintain any software that revolves around food ordering and/or production.

What You'll Do

  • manage and coordinate daily food production for patients and guest;
  • ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and healthcare regulations;
  • collaborate with clinical teams to meet specialized dietary needs;
  • Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff to maintain high performance standards;
  • monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls to meet budget targets; and
  • maintain quality, consistency, and timely meal delivery.

What You Bring

  • food production or culinary management experience, preferably in healthcare or large-scale food service;
  • knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements;
  • strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; and
  • experience with inventory management and cost control.
