The Food Service Manager 2 will have oversight for patient services with direct management all patient services operations, health touch platform and Experiencia implementation. Room service model with traditional patient meal delivery. We are the flagship for the Penn State Health System implementing and driving test pilot for menu and patient service development. We are a leader in cultivating spirit of inclusion and client partnership.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
  • Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
  • Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
  • Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
  • Performs gold check audits and prepares reports.
  • Create interpersonal relationships with key clients in hospital.
  • Union Experience a plus

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Basic Management Experience - 1 year
