Sodexo is seeking Food Service Manager applicants with management background and strong culinary skills for Sodexo at North Platte Public Schools. This position will include oversight of the High School, along with supervisory responsibilities at our other school locations. Successful applicant will report to the General Manager and assist with all day to day operations including but not limited to, employee engagement, safety and supervision, training, ordering, scheduling, catering and general food service operational duties. Candidate must be proficient in computer use and software, including MS Office, POS system, Kronos and nutritional software program. The shift for this role begins at 5:30am.

The successful candidate will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations in a multi-school district;
  • deliver high-quality food service;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • develop strategic plans;
  • create a positive environment; and/or
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met.

  • have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
  • demonstrate a working knowledge of DRIVE, The Market Connection (TMC), Kronos, EVision, and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Basic Management Experience - 1 year
