Food Service Manager 3 for the University of New Haven, located in New Haven, CT. Students today are constantly on the go, expecting healthier dining choices, excellent service and lots of flexibility for where and when they choose to eat. We understand students and meet their ever-changing needs. That is why Sodexo Campus is the leading campus dining provider, serving more than 600 higher education campuses throughout the country. Typical shift will be Sunday- Thursday with some flexibility.

The best qualified candidate will have the following:

  • High-volume, College/University/Campus food service management experience
  • Experience training and leading service personnel (union experience is a plus)
  • Experience with food and labor management systems
  • Experience managing food services in a contract dining environment
  • Basic culinary/kitchen knowledge
  • Experience with food and physical safety programs
  • Exceptional customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations

What We Offer

Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
