Sodexo is seeking a Director of Environmental Services to support both Appalachian Regional Health locations in McDowell and Martin, KY, overseeing a team of 14. The units are 25 minutes apart and this director will oversee those custodial teams. Prior leadership experience is necessary, must be results driven, understand employee engagement, and be committed to a winning culture. Please note: this individual will need to travel between both hospitals so a valid license is required and an acceptable driver’s license record check is required. McDowell and Martin Hospitals are 20 bed facilities.
What You'll Do
- have exceptional client service mentality and executive presence;
- be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
- provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
- partner with the Environment of Care Committee, Infection Prevention Director and other key members of hospital leadership;
- support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What You Bring
- A leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a housekeeping system;
- have 3-5 years previous leadership experience preferably in a hospital environment;
- can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading committees and change management;
- have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;
- are proficient with computers and other technology;
- have financial acumen and budget management experience.
