General Manager 1 – Corporate Dining
Location: Eastman | Kingsport, TN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Daytime Only – No Nights or Weekends!
Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an engaging, hands‑on General Manager 1 to lead the dining operations for two onsite cafés serving breakfast and lunch at our client location, Eastman, in Kingsport, TN. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated food service leader who enjoys building relationships, developing teams, and creating exceptional guest experiences—all while enjoying a stable weekday schedule.

What You'll Do
As the General Manager, you’ll oversee all daily café operations and provide strong leadership for a team of 2 supervisors and 11 hourly employees. Key responsibilities include:
Operational Leadership
- Ensure smooth daily service across two cafés
- Lead menu planning, signage, menu uploads, and post‑production processes
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and safety standards
- Step in at service stations when needed to support the team
Team & Client Engagement
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach team members
- Foster a positive, service‑driven culture
- Build strong relationships with both clients and guests
Financial & Administrative Management
- Manage ordering, inventory, and cash handling
- Assist in budget awareness and cost‑effective operations
- Utilize Microsoft Office for reporting and organization

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years
