Eagleville Hospital is a 305-bed, independent, non-profit addictions and behavioral health treatment and educational organization located on a beautifully wooded 40-acre campus in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. As the General Manager of Food and Housekeeping, we are looking for a leader with experience working with hospital clients, managing hourly staff, experience with Patient Services and in room dining programs, and catering skills. This facility has easy access to highways and the Southeastern Pennsylvania area, including Philadelphia. As the Director over both services, you will need strong communication skills with both the staff and our clients.

The successful candidate will need:

-strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to collaborate and build community;

-a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and client relations experience to bridge the gap between the job and our client;

-to work with unit financial/budgets,

-manage a team of 60,

-be responsible for strategic planning to lead the team, projects, and initiatives.

The ideal candidate:

  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
  • have knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures;
  • have experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance to HCAHPS, local, state and Joint Commission standards;
  • have 3-5 years previous food and custodial management experience, in a hospital or senior living facility; healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Will be responsible for training and development of both a management and hourly staff,
  • Will ensure HACCP compliance,
  • provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff,
  • support a diverse and inclusive workforce.
