Sodexo is currently seeking a General Manager 3 position at University Hospitals Management Services Center! The University Hospitals Management Services Center is the administrative hub that supports the health systems caregivers and patients every day. Located in this administrative building is a newly remodeled cafeteria that is open for breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday and includes a Starbucks coffee bar. Caterings range from simple continental breakfasts and break snacks, to plated board meetings as well as the occasional high end donor event.

Typical schedule is Monday-Friday

The General Manager will have direct client interaction daily and must possess a strong ability to communicate with "C-Suite" level clients. Candidates should have experience working with high volume catering, multi-unit experience, strong employee engagement skills, and a solid understanding of managing unit finances (client and Sodexo).

The ideal candidate:

• has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
• has culinary operation experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
• has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
• can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
• can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
