Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a talented Dining Services General Manager 3 to lead the Campus Dining team at University of Nebraska in Omaha – Dodge Campus, in Omaha, NE. Passion for quality dining and sustainable practices are key for this management position.

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the successful coordination and direction of all daily activities related to food service including: developing strong partnerships with the client; ensuring strong customer dining experience; budgeting, forecasting and financial platform maintenance; developing staff for promotions; and a high-proficiency in technological savvy and managing complex software programs.

Are You the ONE? The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have 3 – 5 years of food operations management experience at a General Manager level in a high-volume dining setting, Sodexo or other contract management experience preferred
  • Have a demonstrated history of successful, diverse team leadership within a food service environment, with a strong focus on Food Retail concepts and marketing
  • Be proficient in use of on-line Food Management Systems for menu and recipe planning, ordering and inventory and financial reporting
  • Demonstrate proven financial acumen, success managing food and labor costs and systems.
  • Be a people person with a strong focus with maintaining positive client relations and experience successfully mentoring and developing the team
  • Be a solid leader who is perceptive and applies attention to details that make a difference in quality and presentation of food, while providing exceptional customer service
  • Be customer and client focused, including providing quality dining options in a welcoming dining environment
