Sodexo Corporate Services North America is seeking experienced General Manager/Executive Chef for one of our Corporate Accounts in Greensboro NC!

The food landscape will consist of a full-service Corporate Cafe with a built in Micro-Market and Catering Operations

The General Manager/Executive Chef will be the number 1 onsite in addition to the Chef for the business. This position represents a 50/50 split between the GM and Culinary responsibilities. Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Managing the budget/finances for the business
  • Managing the client relationship
  • Menu planning
  • Ordering
  • Inventory
  • Leading and developing a team of 6 hourly employees
  • Catering production
  • Ensuring quality and presentation of food

Success in this role and in the relationship will require you to:

  • Be innovative every day
  • An eye for high end restaurant quality food
  • A strong focus in customer service

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implements company policies.
  • Strong management skills.

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
