Sodexo Corporate Service seeking an experienced upscale Restaurant General Manager to oversee our café and catering operations at a high-profile client's location in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The Restaurant General Manager will be crucial in managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and customer service, and executing catering events. This role emphasizes the importance of effectively managing food and labor costs while driving innovation in food offerings, promoting healthy eating, and utilizing local suppliers to enhance our culinary services.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations - Manage café and catering services, ensuring efficient and high-quality food service.

Team Leadership - Lead a team of 9-10 direct reports, fostering a positive work environment.

Catering Execution - Oversee the setup and delivery of high-end catering events.

Client Relations - Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing needs.

Financial Management - Achieve financial targets by managing food and labor costs, budgets, and controlling expenses.

Strategic Planning - Implement plans to enhance service quality, focusing on innovation, healthy eating, and local sourcing

Compliance - Ensure adherence to Sodexo standards and food safety regulations.

Ideal Candidate has:

Financial Acumen - Solid understanding of financial management, especially managing food and labor costs.

Experience - Proven experience in managing food service operations and high-end catering.

Leadership - Strong team management skills with a history of fostering employee engagement.

Customer Service - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver excellent customer service.

Flexibility - Adapt to changing responsibilities as needed.

Technical Skills - Proficiency in computer skills and report management.
