Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a General Manager 4 to lead our team at Fannie Mae Midtown Center in Reston, VA!

This prestigious role involves overseeing the main café and all retail outlets, managing marketing initiatives, POS solutions, employee training, discipline, attendance tracking, cleanliness, sanitation, product ordering, and inventory control. As a showcase account at our Client's headquarters, we require Best in Class service, innovation, collaboration, organization, and creativity. The ideal candidate will have experience with union accounts, proficiency in software systems and excellent communication skills to interact with superiors, chefs, peers, clients, customers, employees, and other departments. We seek an organized, driven, and energetic individual who stays ahead of industry trends, handles change well, and can take direction and feedback from multiple leaders. This position requires the ability to lead a diverse team, face daily challenges, and maintain a positive and energetic work environment. We are looking for candidates who have:

  • experience managing a team both front-of-house and back-of-house
  • financial acumen, experience with creating and managing budgets
  • experience training and mentoring a talented and diverse staff
  • customer driven and strong track record in organizational development
  • superior client relations skills and executive presence
  • who has experience with farm to table cuisine and sustainability
  • experience with building great teams

  • have a Bachelors Degree or 5+ years equivalent experience
  • have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;
  • have extensive experience managing and operating a budget
  • possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;
  • exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
  • demonstrate working knowledge of food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

The Salary Range for this position is $88-95k annually
