SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. SodexoMagic and The Good Eating Company are seeking a dynamic, experienced General Manager to lead a top client in Foster City, California. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a fresh, innovative food program with a top-tier client who values creativity, hospitality, and exceptional dining experiences.
The Good Eating Company is looking for a seasoned leader to oversee a multi‑faceted café operation across three locations. As the General Manager, you will hold full operational responsibility — guiding the management team, supporting frontline staff, and ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, memorable, and elevated experience.

What You'll Do
Oversee daily operations across three cafés, ensuring smooth service flow and exceptional hospitality
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of managers, supervisors, and frontline staff
Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation in partnership with culinary leadership
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, building strong, trust‑based relationships
Anticipate client needs and proactively introduce innovative service or operational solutions

What You Bring
Proven experience as a General Manager or senior operations leader in corporate dining, hospitality, or multi‑unit foodservice
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams
Exceptional communication and relationship‑building abilities
Solid financial acumen, including P&L management and operational forecasting
A passion for fresh, innovative food and a commitment to outstanding service
A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment
