Sodexo is seeking a Food General Manager to oversee Patient Services for Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE. The General Manager will direct all Food & Nutrition related to patient food services for the 600+ bed hospital. The General Manager will come with a background in leading large, diverse food service teams with a proven ability to drive and improve customer experience, foster a fun working culture, and meet financial goals.

The salary range is competitive and based on experience with a bonus incentive plan and a rich benefits package that kicks in immediately. At Nebraska Medicine, this position will also receive perks such as free parking, daily meal stipend, and free gym access!

The successful candidate will:

  • lead the daily operations of patient room service dining program
  • manage a large team of 120+ associates and salaried managers
  • oversee financial reporting and ensure operating standards
  • strategically drive overall patient experience and satisfaction
  • engage with employees, promote an inclusive culture, and mentor department leaders

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • seasoned management/director experience in the food service industry overseeing large scale operations and teams
  • strong financial acumen, reporting, and technical skills
  • proven ability to foster culture, retain employees, and develop large, diverse teams
  • demonstrated success in improving customer experience and meeting/exceeding goals and standards
  • a results-driven mindset that enjoys working hands-on to support the team

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
