Sodexo Universities is seeking an experienced General Manager 6 (Food Service Director) for the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. Dining by Sodexo at Colorado School of Mines is the perfect opportunity for food, fun and fellowship. Our goal is great food, great service and a great experience for our customers, clients and our internal staff. With that said, we are looking for someone with previous successful General Manager or Food Service Director experience in a Unversity setting.


Incentives


With a competitive salary of $105,000 - 130,000, this position is Bonus Eligible through the Annual Incentive Plan.  Enjoy holidays and campus breaks off!   RELOCATION is also offered for this exciting opportunity! 

What You'll Do


This student focused role will:

  • lead with exceptional financial acumen,
  • facilitate top quality dining options and implement innovative concepts to maintain high customer satisfaction survey scores
  • mentor and promote staff,
  • manage influential communication with executive clients

What You Bring


Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have 3-5 years previous success as General Manage / Food Service Director in a campus dining account,
  • Develop exceptional client relationships, ensure the fulfillment of all contract commitments, as well as lead and motivate the management team
  • Possess strong leadership skills, financial acumen, culinary knowledge, and food and beverage cost controls
  • Are successful bringing in innovation and solutioning to help our clients meet their mission/goals.

Qualifications & Requirements


Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience: 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience: 5 years
