Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Manager 1 at Grandview C-4 School District located in Grandview, Missouri. This role will oversee all landscaping needs, snow removal, and pest control will leading the grounds team of 4-5 employees.

The successful candidate will:

  • have a background in horticulture and a clear understanding of all aspects of full-service grounds management;
  • have the ability to develop trust and build strong client relationships while meeting the expectation of the client as well as Sodexo;
  • show exceptional, multi-tasking, time management, and professional communication skills;
  • have a hands-on, innovative leadership approach to management;
  • ensure compliance to all safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety regulations and standards.

Position Summary

Leads the maintenance and development of grounds, including all hard surface areas, turf areas, plant materials, event preparations, exterior recycling, and furniture moves. Responsible for snow removal. May supervise less than 2 full time employees.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
