Job Description
Sodexo Government is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support nationwide business accounts in a union and non-union environment. Main responsibilities will be to support the employee life cycle, including training, employee relations, recruiting support, and educating managers on policies and procedures. This is a remote based position, but ithe ideal candidate will reside near a major airport on the east coast. The selected candidate must be able to travel to fit the needs of the business.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting union and non union locations nationally
- Service Contract Act Compliance experience and knowledge is a must
- Providing HR counsel to local management team in accordance with the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Managing the implementation of HR plans, training and engagement programs, and systems
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with Sodexo employee relations programs, Sodexo policies and procedures and Federal, State, and Local laws regarding human resources
- Maintaining records and reports necessary to comply with Company, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes
- Influencing and negotiating with operators
- Counseling managers and employees regarding the impact of labor and regulatory laws (e.g., FMLA, EEO, ADA).
- Coaching and mentoring that includes developmental plans, training, resources, and opportunities
- Building and developing a robust candidate pool through recruitment and succession planning
- Ensuring compliance with diversity and inclusion metrics and scorecards
- Manage and monitor compliance with the applicable government regulations related to labor in the service industry for Sodexo’s Federal and state contracts.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 2 years in HR
