Sodexo is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer I for Froedtert Hospital located in Milwaukee, WI.
Froedtert Hospital and the surrounding Froedtert Health clinics form one of Wisconsin’s leading integrated healthcare systems, delivering advanced medical care across a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, and specialty settings. The main hospital campus in Milwaukee serves as a major academic medical center, working closely with the Medical College of Wisconsin to support cutting-edge clinical care, research, and education. In addition to the hospital, Froedtert operates numerous outpatient and specialty clinics throughout the region, providing convenient access to diagnostic imaging and other essential services.
An Imaging Service Engineer supporting these locations is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diagnostic imaging systems across both acute-care and outpatient environments. The role supports a variety of imaging modalities used in high-volume hospital departments and ambulatory clinics, requiring a strong understanding of system performance, uptime, and regulatory compliance. Technicians work closely with radiology staff, HTM teams, and vendors to ensure imaging equipment operates safely and reliably, directly contributing to efficient workflows, accurate diagnostics, and high-quality patient care. This position is well suited for candidates who enjoy hands-on technical work, problem-solving in live clinical settings, and supporting multiple sites with varying operational needs.

What You'll Do
- Ensure all medical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner.
- Repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical imaging devices; in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices.
Collaborate with clinical staff and other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
Document service activities and maintain accurate records within the department's tracking systems.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide emergency technical support when needed.

What You Bring
- 1 year of imaging experience (preferably X-ray portables-, GE C-Arms, GE, Ultrasound) not all are required.
- 2 + years of experience in an an acute care hospital or healthcare setting required.
- Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices and the ability to complete preventative & corrective maintenance on medical devices.
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline contributing to proficiency of maintenance and repair of imaging equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and/or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
