Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division is looking for a highly-skilled, confident, and punctual individual to fulfill an Imaging Service Engineer III role located in Evanston, IL.

The ideal Imaging Service Engineer 3 will have outstanding customer service and communication skills, as well as a strong commitment to delivering excellent repair services in an expedient manner. Prior roles within Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) is a must.

The Imagining Service Engineer III will possess:

  • experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical imaging devices including X-rays, Rad room, C-Arms, Bio-Rad Fluor, CT, MRI. PET, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Portables.
  • at least 7+ years' experience in an imaging role
  • experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
  • prior knowledge of renowned medical equipment, preferably Philips, Siemens, Carestream, GE, etc.
  • excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
  • ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule as required
  • CTM experience is a must and/or HTM experience is a must

Position Summary

Using the highest level of technical expertise, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate the full range of diagnostic imaging and/or therapeutic radiation equipment, devices, system, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solution development.

-Develops staff by teaching and mentoring others
-Provides advanced support of equipment for direct patient care
-Interacts on a routine basis with clinical health providers in the identification of technology based problems and solutions

-Preparing required documentation and reports
-Demonstrates a safety mindset
-Financial responsibility for purchasing parts and service


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Basic Functional Experience - 7 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training. Significant factory-level training of imaging equipment contributing to the effectiveness of the organization. Preferred CRES nationally
