Sodexo is seeking a Laundry Operation Manager 2 for HHC Dr. Susan Smith McKinney located in Brooklyn, New York. This is a Day Shift Position, Some weekends and holidays.
Our Sodexo Healthcare teams work to direct Laundry operations at client locations, partnering with them to deliver innovative solutions. The position will manage a team of client paid staff. This is part of New York City, Health and Hospital. NYC Health and Hospitals/Queens is the first municipal hospital in the borough of Queens. The hospital offers high-quality care for Cancer, Diabetes Management, Women’s Health and Behavioral Health. This position reports to a Client Executive on - site.

· Supervise and assists with monitoring daily work schedules and/or work assignments to ensure proper staffing needs are maintained.
· Checks quantities and condition of all sanitation supplies and reports discrepancies.
· Manages, trains, coaches to motivate to work as a cohesive team.
· Handles any overlapping Facility Vendor interactions and issues with professionalism.
· Prioritizes tasks and responsibilities as needed.
· Performs other related duties as required by Management

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of production experience
