is seeking a Manager 2, Regional Operations Support ( *Chef Manager* ) for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, located in Boston, MA. In this role you will support Food Operations at the site.

This is a resource position and is temporary for up to 12-18 months depending on business needs. You may apply to permanent postings while in this role. This role comes with benefits.

The successful candidate will:

  • manage effectively through front line staff (approx 15 employees)
  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
  • ensure Sodexo and USDA culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality
  • motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services, CTM, or Clinical Nutrition
