Sodexo is seeking a Manager 2, Regional Operations Support to support the patient service management operations and a team of approximately 20+ employees for NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler. NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler, is a 4-Star Rated facility known for its specialized memory care program, located on Roosevelt Island, conveniently located to NYC and Queens and easily accessible to public transportation offering free on-site parking.

Prior customer service, patient services experience preferred. This patient service support position will last for approximately 6 months and will provide an opportunity to train and highlight your skills while working with multiple directors/general managers and reporting directly to the GM, Food VI. While in this full-time role, you are encouraged to apply to permanent positions at any Sodexo location. This position is eligible for full-time benefits upon hire.

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day patient service operations;
  • manage, lead, grow, and retain frontline staff;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships; and
  • create a positive environment;

The ideal candidate:

  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills;
  • has a background in managing or supervising frontline staff within food service;
  • healthcare experience and/or experience with specialized diets, a plus;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services, CTM, or Clinical Nutrition
