Sodexo is currently looking for a Multi-Service Manager to join our Facilities Team in Vandalia, OH. This Multi Service Manager will have experience managing multiple areas in a high-speed manufacturing production environment.

This experienced and dynamic Operations Manager will lead a team employees in all aspects of facilities including maintenance, grounds, environmental services and laundry. Some responsibilities may include; quality assurance, safety, training/coaching employees, inventory management, project work and all aspects of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages operations and monitors department KPI’s and rounding for multiple service areas by fulfilling contractual obligations.
  • Supervise day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
  • Probe potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexo resource when necessary.
  • Perform basic HR duties; hiring, counseling, terminations, employee issues, and training.
  • Provide positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments;
  • strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC;
  • experience managing housekeeping and grounds;
  • demonstrated business and financial acumen with a strong P&L understanding;
  • exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills;
  • strong Leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending)
