Sodexo is hiring a Multi eXPress Operations Manager 2 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Yale New Haven Hospital is a 1,610 bed acute care teaching hospital located in New Haven, CT. With two main campuses and 50+ offsites, Yale New Haven is the largest acute care provider in southern Connecticut and one of the Northeast's major referral centers that ranks among the premier medical centers in the nation. This is a strategic account with high-level visibility and growth opportunity!

This Operations Manager role will be involved with oversight of the Yale New Haven Service Response Center (call center) for non-clinical services at both Yale New Haven Hospital and Saint Raphael Hospital, with a focus on project management and analytics.

Responsibilties will include:

  • the ability to develop, implement and monitor performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
  • identify areas of improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives is required;
  • support a team of 20+ hospital employees/team leads;
  • manage more than 700 calls per day

This is primarily a day shift opportunity; however, the selected candidate will need to be flexible to work additional hours when needed and will be required to participate with the manager on-call rotation. Prior call center management experience is preferred, and lean certification is a plus!

Position Summary

Number two position at an account/unit providing two or more core services (Core Services of: Transport, Concierge or Service Response Center (SRC). Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in their absence. Supervises managers in multiple service areas. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
