Job Listing: Multiple NPO Coordinator Assistants

Location: Lucas Oil Stadium

Principal Function: Our Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) serve as a valuable resource for supplementing the workforce and filling staffing needs, primarily within Sodexo Live!'s sports-related venues. Our NPO Coordinator Assistant will be support the administration tasks to include NPO contracts, scheduling, training, payment, communication and all other matters pertaining to our NPO groups. Our NPO Coordinator Assistant will act with some independence to ensure fairness and objectivity for all volunteers and employees while exemplifying and supporting Sodexo Live!'s vision, mission and values.

Our NPO Coordinator Assistants will attract and partnering with local 501c3 Non-Profit Organizations to offer fundraising opportunities in exchange for providing workers to support our F&B departments during games and events. Under the direction of the NPO Coordinator, the NPO Assistant will support the HR function by performing other duties within the department, as assigned by the HR Manager, and they will maintain the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality, as they are exposed to sensitive Company and employee information.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Present for event day to check in NPO volunteers, ensuring volunteers have proper identification and liquor credentials.
  • Conduct event day walk throughs to ensure NPO volunteers are in place at designated locations throughout the stadium, ensuring they set up for success before doors open.
  • Provide leadership and direction to our Concession Supervisors, NPO volunteers, NPO team leads and hourly staff, while working closely with our Concessions Management team.
  • Support the administration tasks to which include NPO contracts, scheduling, training, payment, communication and all other matters pertaining to our NPO groups.
  • Ensure that policies and procedures for processing customer transactions are adhered to.
  • Maximize Sodexo Live!'s concession revenue and operational excellence through implementation and oversight of systems and policies related to concessions operations.
  • Contribute to goal of making Sodexo Live! #1 in Event Hospitality and the #1 Employer of Choice through personal commitment and leading by example.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, able to work without direct supervision, eager to be challenged and initiate projects and opportunities, able to implement rules and direct staff.
  • Previous work experience in a fast-paced, complex food and beverage service environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize and work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
  • Keen ability to connect easily with others and create positive positioning within a particular context or subject matter.
  • Technologically savvy, with high proficiency in all Microsoft Office and HRIS programs.
  • Demonstrated success in interfacing with a variety of organizational functions and divisions to accomplish tasks.
  • Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Venue Information: Lucas Oil Stadium's unique features include its flexibility in design and ability to accommodate a multitude of events beyond NFL football and NCAA basketball, including concerts, national conventions, trade shows, IHSAA tournaments, international and national band competitions, and numerous other national and local amateur sports events. The seven-level stadium has more backstage space than any other NFL stadium with seven locker rooms, 11 indoor truck docks, 44,000 square feet of exhibit space and 12 meeting rooms. Weather permitting, the north operable window combines with the largest retractable roof in the NFL to truly give the spectator the feeling of being at an outdoor stadium. Tradeshows and conventions can utilize 183,000 square feet of exhibit space when merging the field and both exhibit halls. Lucas Oil Stadium also features two multi-level club lounges, 137 suites, retractable sideline seating, house reduction curtains, two HD video boards, 360 degree ribbon boards, spacious concourses and much more, all which allow the ease of welcoming any size event.
