Patient Dining Manager

Job Description

Role Overview

Make an immediate impact on patient experience—while building a pathway to long-term opportunity.

Sodexo is seeking a Patient Dining Manager to support patient meal service operations at Saint Raphael Campus, a 501-bed acute care hospital and an integral part of the New Haven healthcare community.

This is a temporary 6-month opportunity designed to support current operations—with a strong potential to transition into a permanent leadership role at a new on-site location within the hospital. Leadership anticipates hiring for these full-time, benefit-eligible roles later this year, making this a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and showcase your leadership.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership role with benefits
  • Work in a large, fast-paced hospital environment serving a diverse patient population
  • Lead a team of 25–30 union frontline employees
  • Gain visibility and growth within a high-profile healthcare account

Apply today to join a team committed to delivering exceptional patient care—one meal at a time.

  • Conduct patient rounding to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns in real time
  • Serve as an opening or closing manager on a rotating schedule, including some weekends
  • Collaborate with fellow Patient Services Managers to drive service excellence and continuous improvement
  • Support meal service operations utilizing HealthTouch menu software
