Job Description
This position offers a salary of $85,000-$95,000 depending on experience with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a full benefits package that kicks in immediately!
Sodexo is seeking a Dietitian / Patient Services Manager at Keck Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. The Dietitian / Patient Services Manager will direct and manage the day to day Patient Feeding operations and lead, mentor and develop a team of frontline staff. This strategic leader will report to the General Manager and will join a team of additional operational leaders. The successful candidate will:
- lead the daily operations of patient room service dining program
- coordinate the department’s safety programs
- ensure operating standards meet and exceed benchmarks
- manage, schedule and train frontline team and supervisors
We are looking for candidates who have:
- a proven background as a collaborative leader in the food service industry
- natural ability to lead and build teams and foster engagement
- Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and/or a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
- a certified Registered Dietitian (RD) is highly preferred

Position Summary
Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Key Duties
- Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
- Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
- Performs audits and prepares reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
