Come join our dynamic team at Sodexo as an Patient Transport Manager for Huntington Hospital located in Pasadena, CA. Huntington Hospital is situated just north of Downtown Los Angeles in Pasadena, CA. It's a level 2 trauma hospital licensed for 619 beds. This position will will manage the Patient Transport staff on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and great employee relations with an ability to lead and direct a team. Knowledge of patient transportation systems is a plus!

The successful candidate will:

  • Maintain and inspect transport equipment, as well as related logistics, documentation and reporting;
  • Create a positive patient experience by setting the tone and culture of patient expectations, including the provision of concierge transport services, through a compassionate bedside manner;
  • Respond to and/or managing calls through the Service Response Center;
  • Be responsible for driving patient satisfaction scores;
  • Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff;
  • Work with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director;
  • Effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or
  • Support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

  • have experience leading and managing a team in a Hospital;
  • have experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment is preferred;
  • possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion;
  • can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading hospital committees and change management;
  • have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;
  • are proficient with computers and other technology.
  • Have the ability to work a from 4:00pm to 12:30am, alternatively 5:00pm to 1:30am; Monday- Friday

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in functional areas such as call center technology, computer applications, process improvement, or related areas
