Location: We are seeking a Premium Server at T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners.

Job Type: Part-time Seasonal

*This position follows the Seattle Mariners' home-game schedule from March through September. Work from October to February is not guaranteed and is based on business needs and union seniority.

Union Status: Union

*This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with UNITEHERE Local 8. 

Work Location: In person

Pay: $21.30 - $23.75 per hour

*Rate of pay depends on assigned work location

Principle Function:

A Premium Server plays the most important role in ensuring that guests of Sodexo Live!'s free standing or in-venue restaurants have a relaxed, pleasant and memorable dining experience that compels them to return to the establishment again and again. The Restaurant Worker will serve a variety of made-fresh-to-order entrée, appetizer, dessert and beverage items from Sodexo Live!'s Restaurant menu, while exhibiting a professional, friendly and attentive approach.

The Premium Server highest priorities will be to support overall profitability and guest satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service while maintaining Sodexo Live!'s standards for safety, cleanliness, sanitation.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding service to all customers in premium seating areas where in-seat service is made available.
• Contribute to Sodexo Live!'s goal of 100% guest satisfaction through teamwork and personal commitment.
• Ensure that policies and procedures for processing customer sales transactions are adhered to.
• Ensure that quality and safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• TIPS or TEAM trained or equivalent.
• Of age to serve alcoholic beverages, based on state requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively implement written and verbal instructions.
• Strong team orientation and ability to work with a variety of departments to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to utilize a calculator, change counters and manually count and accurately make change for transactions involving large sums of money.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Ability to work well in a high stress, fast paced environment.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used by guests who typically visit the work location.
• Technology aptitude for working with POS and digital register.
• Strong skills for providing guest service with keen ability to connect easily with customers.
• Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs.

Other requirements include but are not limited to:

• Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds in weight.

Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
