Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator for one of our most prestigious accounts in Richmond, CA, and CO, Sodexo is a world-class organization that values and rewards high-performing professionals.

The Construction Project Coordinator reports to the Director of Construction Services and works with the project management team providing technical and administrative support.
The successful candidate will:
- Ensuring documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project
- Communicating plans, actions, risks, and issues with key stakeholders
- Solving any issues that may arise during the project
- Managing and building relationships with multiple teams
- Assisting the Project Manager with administrative functions and processes
- Managing day-to-day activities for the Project Management team Preparation of project-related correspondence; letter, memo, or e-mail
- Consistent follow-up with vendors on all project-related action items
- Manage technical documentation control.
- Distribution and tracking of project-related technical and administrative documentation.
- Maintenance of the project logs utilizing project management-specific software, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets including requests for information and proposal requests
- Assist in tracking and review of change orders.
- Coordinates, and in some cases moderates project meetings.
- Records and distributes project meeting minutes and action items.
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of monthly project progress reports, i.e., project cost reports, schedules, and status reports.
- Attendance at project meetings. Produce and distribute meeting minutes
- Develop and update project schedules as required by the Project Manager.
- Assemble project closeout documentation.
- Assist with the bid and proposal process when necessary.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have :
- A Bachelor’s Degree (project, construction, or business management preferred) A year's degree may be acceptable with other experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of construction management, estimating, or construction administration experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project)
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
- Experience in computerized scheduling systems: Microsoft Project, etc.
- Working knowledge of Construction Management Systems and Construction Document Management Systems
- Extreme attention to detail
