Location: We are seeking an experienced Training and Recruitment Manager for the for the New Orleans Convention Center.

Focus: This position will be focuses on the recruiting and training frontline hourly staff.

Recruiting Duties: Conducts full cycle recruitment process to include sourcing, interviewing, and employee engagement. The Training and Recruiting Manager will also be recommending candidates for placement. Develops and implements aggressive sourcing strategies to increase diversity of candidate pipeline. Establishes referral sources for a highly qualified and diverse pool of leadership level talent. Manages a talent resource data base for advance preparation of searches. Stays abreast of key external talent movement and activity and identifies and establishes communication methods to maintain contact and build relationships with top talent.

Training Duties: Provides guidance and direction for the execution and facilitation of a variety of training programs (basic to complex) for site specific positions. Provides direct and indirect support and training to employee development for current and future internal opportunities. Should have the ability to conduct hands on training and develop trainings where employees can excel in all frontline positions. May have limited human resource functions within area of responsibility.

Basic Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Basic Management Experience - 3 years
  • Basic Functional Experience- 3 years in training Sodexo is an EEO/AA/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.

Skills: Microsoft Office, Office 365, HCM, Attendance on Demand, Applicant Pro.

Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
