Sodexo Universities Segment is seeking a dynamic Registered Dietitian 2 - Universities to provide nutrition services to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. The Campus Registered Dietitian is responsible for nutrition education and promotion of nutritional programs through events, presentations, social media, and other outreach efforts with respect for the varying needs of the diverse population we serve. Occasional evenings and weekends are required based upon event demands and during critical times of the year.

The successful candidate will:
- partner closely with Executive Chefs and/or café management in selecting healthy menu items, evaluating sales and determining what can be offered differently, and promoting nutritional campaigns;
- assist with food service operations by conducting special station audits and menu audits;
- maintain an active and engaging social media presence;
- serve as a liaison to the university accommodations office regarding nutrition issues related to food allergies, weight management and disordered eating patterns and other medical issues requiring meal selection assistance or meal plan accommodations;
- provide support to the University athletics
- conduct events across the campus and create regular communications intended to motivate and engage the population in healthy eating habits;
- remain knowledgeable of emerging trends in nutrition and dietetics;
- participate in campus and community events and develop and deliver presentations as needed to support client goals; and/or
- provide direction for planning strategic goals, and standards of the brand and maintaining effective communication with other managers and inter-department liaisons.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:
- are a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR);
- have experience working in a College or University setting, preferred;
- have experience with digital content creation and marketing, preferred;
- have experience with survey development and data analysis, preferred;
- have basic clinical skills and knowledge of MNT;
- have excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking; and/or
- have a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field and implementation of new and innovative ideas to implement.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
