Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered part-time Registered Dietitian (RD) to support our inpatient orthopedic population at OrthoIndy Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. This part-time role offers 8 hours per week with highly flexible scheduling to fit the needs of the candidate.
Candidates interested in additional hours may work up to 16 hours per week at our partner site, Riverview Health in Noblesville, IN.

Salary listed is the full‑time annual rate and will be prorated based on the number of hours worked.
What You'll Do
- Provide medical nutrition therapy to orthopedic and post-surgical patients
- Complete nutrition assessments, care plans, and follow-up documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on dietary needs and recovery nutrition
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practice

What You Bring
- Registered Dietitian, or eligible to take registration exam
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Experience in acute care and orthopedics preferred

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
