Sodexo is seeking an experienced Resident District Manager for Providence College. This is a High Profile role with great growth potential. This position is responsible for driving programs and leading teams that deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences and Outstanding Hospitality. The position reports to the District Manager and works closely with our clients while managing the daily operations of food production, and service in the facilities. This candidate must have a strong financial background, and demonstrated prior success in roles of progressive responsibility. Providence College is a private, Catholic university in Providence, Rhode Island. With a 2019 enrollment of 4,367 undergraduate students and 523 graduate students, the college specializes in academic programs in the liberal arts.
The successful candidate will:
- have oversight of day-to-day operations;
- create a positive working environment;
- have a strong financial acumen and achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
- have experience managing multiple locations;
- integrate fully within our client’s organization becoming a trusted adviser and member of the accounts leadership team;
- develop and execute a strategy to accelerate business growth;
- create an exceptional student experience through marketing, menu design, and food quality; and
- lead and motivate the management team, inspiring strategic direction;
- ensure the fulfillment of all contract commitments;
- sustain client satisfaction and retention; and
- maintain strong employee relations.

What We Offer

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
Position Summary
Functions as the central point of contact for one complex account with multiple locations, and possibly multiple contracts. Oversees performance of unit management including budget development, client relations, sales and profitability performance, conformance with company policies and procedures and staff training and development. Liaison between company resources and unit operating managers.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
