Sodexo is seeking a Reatil Manager 2 for UMass Memorial Health, located in Worcester, MA. In this role, you will report to the Food Operations Manager will work in the Memorial campus and also oversee the Hahnemann Campus. The Retail Manager supervises a team of about 25, and works primarily Monday-Friday, approximately 6am-2pm, as well as rotational weekend coverage every other weekend, and every other Holiday covering the patient trayline in the kitchen.

The successful candidate will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations for all food retail areas
  • deliver high quality food service while engaging with customers
  • lead frontline teams, mentoring them in accurate cash handling, operations, open and closing processes
  • train and manage department HACCP Safety Programs, Sodexo programs and operation standards

  • have food management experience with a focus on front of the house retail operations
  • has strong understanding of POS systems, cash handling management and computer software
  • can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
