Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 2 for Fisk University located in Nashville, Tennessee. Fisk University is ranked #6 among historically black universities, according to U.S. News and World Report, and is the oldest institution of higher learning in Nashville, Tennessee. Fisk University is a 5 mins drive from downtown Nashville and is accessible by air via the Nashville International Airport. With public transportation that services the local area and the university campus. This Retail Managers main focus will be on the Starbucks, and the Resident dining hall and student experience. Primary responsibilities, include scheduling, overseeing daily operations, coaching and engaging with frontline employees and students. Social media & marketing for the campus dining options.

The successful candidate will:

  • lead frontline teams, mentoring them in accurate cash handling, operations, open and closing processes; and/or
  • train and manage department HACCP Safety Programs, Sodexo programs and daily operation standards.

  • proven client relationship and customer service skills.
