Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 2 to join our food service team for new business at White Horse Village in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Newtown Square is a beautiful area to live and especially to raise a family in the Main Line area. It is close to everything with fantastic schools and a sense of community. This premier continuing care retirement community provides residents a new standard in retirement living with abundant amenities, exceptional wellness programs, delicious food, and excellent facilities. We are seeking a talented individual who has strong customer service skills with experience in training and mentoring staff. A background in food retail operations is desired.
The successful candidate will:
- have oversight of the daily operations of the C-Store and bistro;
assist with food prep during rush hours;
manage approximately 30 employees (cooks, cashiers);
- successfully coordinate all required tasks through supervisors and frontline staff;
- deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and resident dining operations;
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships (i.e., comfortable in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative when serving as top level site management);
- ensure Sodexo standards are met.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
