Sodexo is seeking an experienced Retail Manager with demonstrated leadership ability in iconic Daytona Beach, Florida, based at prestigious Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The successful candidate demonstrates high energy, an eye for detail, and an unwavering commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction. This is a high-profile and fast-paced college campus environment.

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the operation for a high-volume food court. You should demonstrate knowledge of food safety protocol, quality standards and strong organizational skills. You will focus on guest satisfaction, labor management, recruitment and development of staff, food ordering and menu management systems, and sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue.

Through strong interpersonal skills, you will develop and maintain client relationships and guest loyalty. You will leverage systems to proactively seek out feedback to meet and exceed expectations, as a manager who is always looking to evolve and improve upon the existing program.

The successful candidate will:

  • lead frontline teams, mentoring them in accurate cash handling, operations, open and closing processes; and/or
  • train and manage department HACCP Safety Programs, Sodexo programs and daily operation standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
