Sodexo is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager 3 for Northwestern State University located in Natchitoches, LA. Our Retail Manager 3 will oversee the campus’s Chick-Fil-A with additional venues on the horizon and will supervise 30-40 team members.

Candidates who can demonstrate working knowledge of Chick-Fil-A and/or Sodexo systems such as Kronos and Drive, and are proficient in computer skills, online ordering platforms, scheduling, and report management tools are a plus!! However, Chick-Fil-A experience is NOT mandatory.

The successful candidate will:

  • Passionately adhere to Chick-Fil-A’s and other brands’ high standards of excellence
  • have oversight of day-to-day operations in compliance with Chick-Fil-A high standards
  • deliver high quality food service
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships
  • create a positive work environment while ensuring Sodexo standards are met.
  • have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
  • can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
  • prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • lead frontline teams, mentoring them in accurate cash handling, operations, open and closing processes; and
  • train and manage department HACCP Safety Programs, Sodexo programs and daily operation standards.

  • High-volume retail food operations management experience.

  • Experience driving sales, controlling costs, ordering and inventory, and scheduling to business needs and labor targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
