Come join the Nourish Team that loves what they do. Sodexo/Nourish is looking for a Sales Executive, Nourish to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and creative Team. This sales role is responsible for selling profitable new business and generating new revenue growth for Sodexo/Nourish's Santa Clara commissary kitchen.

This is a virtual role with frequent travel to visit potential new clients in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Ideal candidate will reside within commuting distance.

Your main focus will be tapping into your existing network of contacts in the food industry in the California Bay Area to call upon to sell our meal, pantry, and beverage plan(s) and develop a portfolio of accounts. You will also collaborate closely with an assigned Business Development Representative to identify and prospect for primary new business targets.

The successful candidate will:

  • As a new sales developer, secures continued business development opportunities for the Company.
  • Develops and implements the business plan, budget and forecasts to achieve sales, market share, hit rates and market growth targets to attain overall financial goals, and fulfills all CRM reporting and data quality requirements
  • Researches growth strategies and competitor practices and strategies to evaluate and implement new strategies
  • Upholds Company mission and values and provides Quality of Life offers in coordination with Segment objectives

  • An established network of contacts in the food industry in Bay Area to call upon to sell our meal, pantry, and beverage plan(s)
  • Proven sales experience in prospecting and closing clients in hospitality, food service offerings or related
  • Must be a fearless driver in prospecting new business and able to make an immediate positive impact
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build strong partner relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivation and drive to succeed
  • Strong communication and listening skills

Position Summary
  • Investigates and analyses new and expanded business opportunities; develops and maintains positive business relationships with new and existing clients; builds both internal and external networks

  • This dual sales role is responsible for selling profitable new business and generating new revenue growth from the right clients under the right terms for Sodexo, and/or supporting retention or managing a portfolio of accounts. As a new sales developer, secures continued business development opportunities for the Company. As a retention specialist secures continued business with existing accounts. As an account management professional, maintains and maximizes client relationships. Develops business solutions to improve client operations and reduce operating costs based on knowledge of organizational strengths and weaknesses, technological advances, external trends, competitors and customer needs. Upholds Company mission and values and provides Quality of Life offers in coordination with Segment objectives

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Functional Experience - 7 years
