Sodexo is seeking a Senior Area Executive Chef for UC Health Hospitals in Colorado. The Sr Area Executive Chef will standardize all culinary operations for 7 hospitals in the region and direct 8 culinary managers. This strategic leader will implement a high-end culinary experience, drive and grow the overall brand and marketing, and will come with a background in successful high-end restaurants, resorts, or hospitality with a passion for cooking with current culinary trends and fresh food.

Salary range is $110,000-$120,000 depending on experience and a full benefits package that kicks in immediately.

The successful candidate will:

  • direct and standardize all culinary activities including financial performance, menu compliance, and food quality
  • drive overall brand recognition and marketing efforts including public demos via social media and other media outlets
  • manage, develop, mentor and engage with subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline employees to drive food quality and presentation
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships
  • oversee all food and nutrition service day-to-day operations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • seasoned experience as an Executive Chef or Culinary Director in a high-end restaurant, hotel, resort, or hospitality environment
  • successful leadership skills and proven ability to mentor culinary managers with a focus on food quality
  • experience with public cooking demonstrations, social media engagements, and/or pubic relations to drive brand recognition
  • strong financial acumen and technical skills
  • knowledge and background in current culinary trends and creating elite culinary experiences
  • natural enthusiasm, eagerness to grow the brand, and presentation skills
  • a results-driven mindset that enjoys working hands-on to support the team

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
