Sodexo is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland, OH. This position covers 14 medical centers and over 300 ambulatory locations across Northeast Ohio.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide technical expertise in electrical engineering for both construction and renovation projects, as well as for existing electrical systems. The role involves offering technical support to the facilities management team and delivering expert feedback to the construction office throughout the design, construction, implementation, and assessment phases.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electrical engineering within healthcare facilities, with a strong understanding of the service aspects encountered daily. The Senior Electrical Engineer will collaborate with regional FM and Construction Leaders to support client initiatives, enhance operational effectiveness, improve client satisfaction, and ultimately drive better patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design standards, healthcare regulations, and building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects from start to finish.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
