Sodexo is seeking a Senior Area Support Manager for Food & Nutrition at SSM Health Hospitals in the St. Louis, MO region. This strategic manager will support a variety of hospitals in the region focusing on driving process improvements within food and nutrition services. This includes managing and directing operations, continuous improvement and project management, driving patient experience and more.

The Senior Area Support Manager role comes with a competitive salary, bonus incentive plan, reimbursement for mileage, and a rich benefits package that kicks in immediately.

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • be hands-on with day-to-day food operations at various SSM Health Hospitals
  • manage and lead projects and initiatives
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships
  • improve processes, drive change, and increase patient experience

The ideal candidate has:

  • flexibility to travel and work at different hospitals in the St. Louis, MO region
  • a work history demonstrating strong project management and process improvement
  • a background in managing food operations in large hospitals
  • worked with Host Hostess software
  • the ability to manage multiple priorities and work hands-on with the team

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in operations
