What You'll Do
  • Have a working knowledge of general tax principles.
  • Provide support for federal, state, local & foreign income tax audits.
  • Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns using Corptax tax software.
  • Prepare spreadsheets for planning, compliance and audit issues.
  • Provide support with research, implementation, and monitoring tax-planning projects.
  • Provide support to other departments with corporate income tax issues.
  • Run Reports from SAP Tax Depreciation Module, calculate Tax Deprecation using FAS.
  • Assist YE Provision using Onesource Provision Software.
  • Make quarterly tax payments and Extension via Checks/EFT.
  • Work with the States in resolving tax notices.

What You Bring
  • Preferably a BS or BA (concentration in Accounting or Finance a plus)
  • 2 years of tax experience with a CPA firm and/or Industry tax department a plus, but not required
  • High degree of initiative and ability to work independently and in teams
  • Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Accounting systems, SAP preferable, tax research software such as CCH, and BNA a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of tax preparation software, Corptax a plus, but not required
