Sodexo, A world leader in quality of life services has a new opening for a Part Time Taxation Assistant II in the Sales Tax Department at our Financial Services Center in Cheektowaga, NY.

The Taxation Assistant II will assist sales tax department members with tax return filings and compiling and reviewing documentation in preparation for tax audits.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and customer service orientation
  • Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, & Access)
  • The ability to perform multiple tasks, monitor progress toward meeting objectives, and adjust plans and actions as necessary
  • A high degree of initiative
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting or a minimum of 2 years completed toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is preferred
